It can sometimes be hard to tell the difference between Diamond Cut rims, Anodized Rims, Chrome Rims and High Polished Rims. High Polished Rims can be distinguished by their super smooth finish. Most times only the lip of a rim is high polished. It is essentially on the aluminium alloy finish and no other layer that is visible. The aluminium alloy is polished with a special brush and compound specifically made for high polished rims and then polished at ultra high speeds to give their smooth mirror-like finish.
